Hello my name is Blazette (aka Blaze or Midnight). I am a part-time Content Creator & Vtuber as my full-time work consists of Software / Web Development. My content consists of chill vibes with a dash of chaotic. Gaming genres I typically take an interest in are Action-Adventure, J/RPGs, Indies, Visual Novels & Narratives, Retro, and sometimes MMOs or Co-Ops. Alongside streaming, I craft props for cosplays & write code for web plugins. My main focus is to build a community which provides a safe space for BIPOC / POC, LGBTQIA+, Creatives & continue to be an advocate for STEM focused BIPOC individuals. Most of my Twitch and YouTube content consists of me playing games and hoping to bring some laughter, positive vibes, and entertainment to those who enjoy a bit of out pocket humor and laid-back vibes. Brown Girl Gamer Code is a digital safe space for Black Women and Women of Color to share their love and passion for gaming and technology. One of the goals for our organization is to broaden the scope of representation in the video game world. As systemic oppression, white supremacy, racism, sexism, misogyny, homophobia, and trans-phobia are ingrained in almost every aspect of society, the gaming world is no different. The creators goals are to continue to be pillars of representation of Black Women in the gaming community and to also continue to highlight the lack of diversity in regards to Black Women and Women of Color on and off the video game screen. The Twitch Women’s Guild provides a safe, private space for women across Twitch to build a community through collaboration, experiences, and shared knowledge. The Guild’s role is to amplify women’s voices, increase their visibility, and provide more opportunities and resources for their personal and professional growth.

A showcase which features Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and People of Color (POC) within the Vtuber Community. Aurora decided to invite myself as well as five others on as hosts for a 10-hour showcase highlighting 65 BIPOC & POC Vtubers out of over one hundred and fifty Vtubers who applied. She offered her stream platform to us in order to raise awareness about representation and give visibility to a marginalized group within the Vtuber community.
